SolarPay Upgrade Options

You can also choose to upgrade any SolarPay options at our MyChoice Design Studio to ensure you have a system that matches you and your family's needs:

  • Add even more solar panels for larger families
  • Add a Solax battery to your home
  • Upgrade your EV Charger for higher use

 

You can also choose to buy the solar panels out a year or two later, with your purchase price reducing by $1,000 each year. Or, just forget they're up there and they're yours to keep in just 60 months. EnergyBuild also include a 10 year warranty on all solar components*.

*EnergyBuild SolarPay Solar Panels and Electric Vehicle Car Charger is applicable to all new requested tenders from 1 July 2021, excluding ACT. MOJO Homes agrees to provide an upgraded metering smartbox to facilitate the integrated EnergyBuild SolaX inverter installed during construction. EnergyBuild (supplier) to install 6.6kW Solar System with Tier 1 Jinko Panels and 5kW SolaX Inverter should you choose to enter into a contract to allow the supplier to install the SolarPay solar system on your roof during construction. The supplier will own the solar output for the first 60months and you will have the option to buy the solar electricity produced at a discounted rate during this period. After 60 months you will own the solar system outright with the output and have access to all the benefits of solar energy for your own use and to sell back to the grid. You also have the option to purchase the system outright at any time. To access the discounted solar electricity, you must have an account with Powershop, who will offer a discount off its standard rates for all solar electricity used for the first 60 months. Customer is free to change electricity suppliers at any time. An Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger will be installed in your garage during construction by EnergyBuild. This offer only applies to new homes built by MOJO Homes in NSW (excluding ACT) on any applicable design that can accommodate the basic array of panels. Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs): By accepting this solar offer, the customer directs MOJO Homes to assign the right to create STCs on the customers behalf to the supplier to claim for a period of up to 9 years deeming, commencing the date of installation. To complete this assignment, MOJO Homes will sign an STC Assignment Form on completion of the system install on your behalf that acknowledges the following: 1) There is no obligation to assign the STCs to the supplier. 2) The STC payment is to be repaid to the supplier should the assignment be invalid. 3) An agent of the Clean Energy Regulator or the supplier may wish to inspect the system within the first five years of certificate redemption. 4) Receipts and proof of installation date must be retained for the life of the STCs. 5) Penalties can be applied for providing misleading information under the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Act 2000.
