MOJO's 25 year structural guarantee*


When it comes to the 25 Year Structural guarantee, we want to make sure you have all the details

This guarantee covers:

The steel frame, timber frame, concrete slab and footings.

This does not include the following:

Defects arising from failure to maintain the home in accordance to the CSIRO’s Guide to Foundation Maintenance and Footing Performance (refer to MOJO Construction Handover Pack).

Damage caused by natural environmental factors – storms, fire, rain/flood, earthquake and strong wind.

Damage caused by tree roots or planting near the perimeter footings, poor surface drainage and leaking plumbing (drains and stormwater) in and around the home. For further information on how to prevent this type of defect, please refer to CSIRO’s Guide to Foundation Maintenance and Footings Performance.

Everyday wear and tear, this includes minor cracking due to climate conditions after your initial 24 month warranty period, is not covered by this warranty.

Regular 12-month termite inspections. This is the home owner’s responsibility to continue the Termite Protection Maintenance Program. Failure to do so will result in void of Termite Warranty and any subsequent damage to the structural membrane.  

Structural alterations, renovations or additions to the property, including major landscaping or construction of a pool after handover.

For the avoidance of doubt, this structural guarantee does not cover items of a non-structural nature such as marks, scratches, chips to cupboards, doors, benchtops, basins, baths, showers, appliances, floor and wall tiles, etc.

All MOJO Homes customers are responsible for maintaining their home in accordance with the MOJO Construction Handover Pack provided at handover. Failure to meet such requirement will void your 25 year Structural Guarantee.

It's worth remembering that this structural guarantee is specific to the initial purchaser and is not transferable to future owners of the home.

*Terms and Conditions

Mojo Homes guarantees the structural performance of its frame, slab and footings for 25 years from the date of contract to its customers. If there is a structural failure of any of these items (being class 3 damage or above as defined by the Australian Standard), Mojo Homes will rectify that structure at no cost. This 25 year guarantee is not transferrable and may be void due to storm, fire, flooding, subsequent building works, trees, retaining walls or site conditions outside of the control of the builder including latent conditions, or where loss or damage arises due to a failure by the owner to ensure site maintenance, termite treatments or site drainage requirements, including in accordance with advice from Mojo Homes at handover.
