Some builds just have that extra something. A great block, the right design, a vision that comes together exactly as planned - and a result that makes the whole journey feel completely worth it. For these Mojo customers, their Newcastle knockdown rebuild ticked every one of those boxes, selling for an incredible $2,375,000 through First National Newcastle City.
The decision to start fresh
Like a lot of KDR customers, the idea of renovating the existing home was considered - but it didn’t take long to realise that a knockdown rebuild was the smarter path forward.
"Renovating an old house has lots of unknowns, especially costs, so the fixed price contract was very appealing to us. Knowing upfront exactly how much the build was going to be gave us confidence. It’s so nice to have everything brand new, especially the plumbing and electrical, which a renovation often doesn’t fully achieve. We also felt that a new home would be more energy efficient and easier to maintain." said the customers.
And with that, the old home came down, and something much better took its place.
Finding the one: The Modified Riverdale 23
After walking through designs and exploring what was possible, they landed on the Riverdale 23 - a four-bedroom, two-bathroom, one powder room, double garage home that just felt right for the block and for what they wanted to achieve.
"We loved how many double storey home designs Mojo Homes had, it made the decision difficult! Our block of land had a wide frontage but was not a deep block. With help from our sales consultant, we found the perfect design for our block. When we compared to other builders, the Mojo Homes inclusions and optional upgrades were exactly what we were after".
The build
With a few thoughtful modifications to make it their own, the build was underway. From first meeting to handover, the experience was one they look back on fondly.
"We had a great experience with Mojo Homes!
From the initial contact at the display home village with the sales professionals, to the MyChoice Design Studio, the MyChoice financing team and then our Site Supervisor and construction team, it all ran really smoothly.
We were particularly impressed with the inclusions on our chosen home design and then also the additional options available in the MyChoice Design Studio. Choosing these and then seeing them come to life in the finished house was very exciting."
Styled beautifully by Mode Hire and brought to market by agents George Rafty and Damon Sellis at First National Newcastle City, the home sold for $2,375,000 - a result that had everyone smiling.
It’s the kind of outcome that reminds us why we do what we do. A well-planned knockdown rebuild, a great design, and a build done right.
