The design stage is all about getting the floor plan and elevations right. We'll help you find the right architecturally designed floor plan and look at our design options to help you personalise your home. We'll provide you a FREE QUOTE and FREE SITE INSPECTION so you'll know the cost of your new home upfront.

This is the stage of building a house where you can really get creative with your personal Interior Designer and select your choice of colours and finishes at our MyChoice Design Studio. You will attend appointments for the selection of the internal, external and electrical requirements of your new home. The state-of-the art MyChoice Design Studio is a one-stop shop filled with all the latest trends for fittings, fixtures and finishes to create a home that is truly unique to you.
At the conclusion of all your MyChoice selection appointments, you will attend an appointment with your Client Relations Consultant to sign your Building Agreement, when you’re happy and understand everything.
(Knock Down and Rebuild – If you are knocking down your existing home, now is the time to start planning and obtaining approvals to demolish)
The last milestone before construction begins. Once your design is locked in, selections appointments ticked off, contracts are signed and Building approvals are completed, we can finalise our documentation and your finance and provide you with the Authority to Commence Construction so we can get your block ready for commencement of construction.
(Knock Down and Rebuild - Once your new home plans have been approved, you can now arrange to have your existing home demolished)
Well, building a house is no longer just a dream. Your MOJO Home is coming to life right before your eyes and we're just as excited as you are! Your Site Supervisor will meet you at your new address at every milestone so you can watch your creation unfold, we also encourage you to refer to your MyHome Customer Portal for images and updates. The building period begins within 20 working days of receiving the Authority to Commence Construction and all contract conditions being met.
The first part of your new home, the slab, will be poured once all site excavation, under-slab drainage and piering has been complete.
Your new home starts to take shape. Our specialised team from Supaloc will construct your steel frame and trusses or if you are building in timber, our qualified carpenters will be on site to complete this work.
You'll now have a good feel for how your new home will look. Our team will now work towards 'lock up' by installing:
- Brickwork and/or other external cladding
- Roof covering and eave linings
- Plumbing and electrical rough ins
- Windows and external doors
Now we are at lock-up and your new home is secure and weatherproof, we can start on the inside. Our team will install:
- Plasterboard linings
- Architraves and skirting boards
- Kitchen
- Joinery
- Internal doors
Your new home is nearing completion as we add the finishing touches. There will be a wave of activity as a combination of trades complete:
- Painting
- Wall and floor tiling
- Plumbing and electrical installs
- Shower screens, mirrors and splashbacks
- Flooring
An independant building inspector will complete a final quality check of your completed home prior to your inspection with your Site Supervisor in readiness for handover.
